Briefly Anambra humanitarian and APC chieftain, Engr Johnbosco Onunkwo has called for more urgent steps to be taken by by government at all environment in which they can thrive. He made this call on the children's day, Messaged to mark this year celebration, as according to him,

It has become necessary to see the responsible development of our children as one of our for most priorities. He maintained that the future of our children is now and here with us, he noted that what ever training on conducive environment we fail to provide for our children now will affect the realisation of their full potentials later in life. He went further to decry the growing number of school children which was worsed by economic hardship, he therefore, suggested a conscious program to be put in place by governments, that will take children off the streets into the classroom, stating that he already instituted such a program in his individuals capacity called the Back to school program, which has succeeded in enrolling hundred of indigents pupils back to school in Anambra state from 2016 to 2020. Engr Johnbosco Onunkwo concluded by describing children as hundles of joy in home and the society, who must be protected and given the best training from parents and society can offer, he appealed parents and guardian not to shy away from to their co- responsibilities of raising children into decent and responsible adults while advicing children especially in Anambra to obey their parents and respect their elders.
